A 15-year-old man was arrested after a teenager was repeatedly stabbed in the stomach Southampton.
Police announced tonight that a 15-year-old boy from Southampton was on suspicion of attempted murder.
He was questioned by officers and released on bail but was not supposed to enter Monks Way, Pilgrim Place and Octavia Road.
This comes after an 18-year-old man sustained a serious knife wound to the body and was rushed to hospital on Monday.
Wounds were described as not life threatening.
Police were called to a wooded road leading from Monks Way to Octavia Road in Swaythling around 5pm on Monday.
Police patrols continue in the area today.
Residents said police were called after an injured teenager holding his stomach knocked on anyone’s door.
One woman said: “I heard the air ambulance flying heard and a whole load of sirens. A track leading to the river is still cordoned off.”
A spokesman from the Hampshire Constabulary said: “Thank you so much to everyone who has shared our appeal so far. We continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to contact.
“We were really keen to listen from anyone driving in the area on Monday 11 October around 5pm who may have a dash cam in their vehicle.
