Armed theft at Corals bookmakers in Fair Oak, Hampshire

ONE MAN was launched after two people threatened staff at a bookmaker with a knife.

Police said the armed robbery happened around 3.15pm on Friday Oct. 8, at Coral on Botley Road, Fair Oak.

The two men, wearing motorcycle attire, threatened a staff member with a knife before demanding money from the tires.

They then fled the scene in a black Suzuki Bandit. No one was injured in the incident.

A spokesman for the Hampshire Constabulary said: “One of the people involved was seen wearing all black motorcycle apparel, while the other had a high -visibility jacket, black pants and was seen wearing face-masks under their helmets.

“Were you in the area then or did you see what happened? Did you know the motorcycle involved? Maybe you had dashcam footage in the lead or while the incident took place?”
