Multi-Car Injury in Cooper Point City Left 2 People Dead, 1 Injury
OLYMPIA, WA (October 12, 2021) – Four people lost their lives Wednesday morning after a deadly multi-car collision on Cooper Point Road.
The accident occurred just before 10:00 a.m. on Oct. 6, at the intersection of Cooper Point Road and Capital Mall Drive.
According to reports, police responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving four vehicles, though the events that led to the crash are not yet known.
Responding officers found two people dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics brought a third person to the hospital who was in critical condition.
At this time, officials were not sure if the parties involved were the drivers or passengers from the vehicle. Also, officers withheld their identities until subsequent relatives were notified.
In addition, officers closed the intersection for several hours while personnel cleaned up the area.
Meanwhile, the crash is still under investigation.
