A number of boxers weighed in and gave their reaction after Tyson Fury knocked out Deontay Wilder.
In their trilogy fight, Fury defeated Wilder for the second time after winning a hard defeat in the 11th round.
In being described as one of the greatest weight fights of all time, it looks like Wilder beat him twice in two big shots and landed him in the fourth.
Anger would rise from his feet and begin to take control from that point forward, as he knocked Wilder four times toward a big KO in the 11th round.
Reacting to Twitter, a number of boxers gave their thoughts.
Tommy Coyle wrote: “What a fight. Tyson Fury take a bow.”
Paul Smith said: “What’s the fight.”
Shawn Porter wrote: “Yes this 1 is more painful than the last 1. Can’t wait to be with my guys and talk about it on this week’s podcast.”
Regis Prograis wrote: “It was a great fight. I was a Wilder team but Fury beat him and there was no controversy. The two best in the world fought and this is what boxing needs. Fury is undoubtedly the best heavy weights on the planet. “
Badou Jack said: “Fight of the year! Like a damn Rocky movie lol”
Caleb Traux said: “That was AF *** FANTASTIC HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT! # Boxing #FuryWilderIII.”
Luis Angel Feliciano said: “Rough night for the state of Alabama” (referring to the Alabama college football team that suffered an extraordinary loss the same night as Wilder’s defeat.)
As Joseph Diaz said: “Happy Wilder is okay! He showed a lot of heart, nothing is lost tonight!”
Tyson Fury now looks set to face Dillian Whyte, should he beat Otto Wallin later this month.
