PG&E warns of possible power outages for 32 provinces, 44,000 customers starting Monday in California

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) – Pacific Gas and Electric said on Saturday it may need to turn off the power starting Monday morning due to dry and severe weather conditions.

It could affect 44,000 customers in 32 provinces as well as seven tribes across the state, the agency added.

PG&E said potential closures could begin Monday morning in parts of the North Valley, Sacramento, and San Joaquin Foothills.

Potential closures for the Northern Sierra Foothills, North Bay, North Coast regions, Bay Area hills and the Central Valley could begin Monday night, depending on the time of the wind event.
