A man has been arrested after four people were attacked with a hammer in central London.
The 38-year-old first attacked two women on Regent Street at about 10.45pm on Friday, Met police said.
The women, one in her 30s and the other in her 20s, were taken to hospital and their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
That man used a hammer to attack a woman in her 40s and a man in her 50s in a pub on Glasshouse Street. Both were taken to hospital and the two were not in danger of life.
The man was arrested by pub security staff and then arrested by Met police officers on suspicion of serious bodily injury, before being taken into custody at a London police station.
