Xtra Time Web Desk – Noted Bollywood director Mahesh Manjrekar is thinking of making a film about the life story and struggles of Rajasthan Royals hitter Yashasvi Jaiswal. It is still in a nascent stage, as ‘Vaastav’ director ‘Astitva’ is working on the idea of making a film about Yashasvi.
The eldest son of a small paint shop owner from Bidhoi in Uttar Pradesh, Yashasvi decided to come to Mumbai with the ambition of making cricket a career. He traveled with a relative to Berli from Mumbai, but it was not a very big place to live. Due to which he had to spend the night with the gardeners in a tent.
Yashasvi endured so much pain at a young age that it is an inspiring story. To earn a living, he (Yashasvi) sold Panipuri during Ramleela on Azad maidan. It was until former Indian cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar spotted him on a sunny afternoon at the Azad field in 2016. He was soon hired by Dadar Union Sports Club and was groomed by Jwala Singh, who worked at Vengsarkar academy.
It was a perfect story from poverty to riches when Yashasvi was caught in Rajasthan Royals for Rs 2.4 crore. Yashasvi now has a flat and has also brought a car to Mumbai. Recently, the Rajasthan Royals cricketer received valuable advice from India and RCB captain Virat Kohli.
