ORLANDO, Florida (AP) – A man live-streamed an attack on two Florida police officers, setting up a cell phone before picking up a brick and striking them from behind early Saturday morning, authorities said.

Video from the man’s phone shows him lifting a brick from behind a car and repeatedly hitting an officer on the head. A fight ensued and the second officer was also injured, according to a statement issued by Police Chief Orlando Rolon.

“An officer has a significant facial injury. The other one was bitten and almost had one eye gouged out, ”Rolon said.

William McClish, 27, is being held without bail on various charges, including the attempted murder of a law enforcement officer. The jail records do not list an attorney for him.
