Deputy head of Labor Angela Rayner Faced a backlash after the Tories were reportedly described as ‘racist, homophobic, scum’.
Ms Rayner launched an outright attack on Conservatives during an event for Labor activists from the north-west of England at the conference in Brighton.
The Ashton-under-Lyne MP described the Tories as ‘a group of scum, homophobic, racist, misogynistic’, the Daily Mirror reported.

Ms Rayner said: ‘I’m sick of screaming from the side, and I bet many of you are too.
‘We can’t get any worse than a bunch of rubbish, homophobic, racist, mysoginistic, absolute pile … of the banana republic … Etonian … pieces of rubbish … and I suppressed a little … that I have seen in my life ”

Amanda Milling said: ‘Surprising. Angela Rayner should apologize for these comments.
‘Don’t forget Rayner was Corbyn’s alipores when Labor was embroiled in antisemitism.
‘He failed to act. Instead of throwing out false accusations the Conservatives are focused on the people’s priorities. ‘

Foreign Office minister James Cleverly also accused Ms Rayner of ‘talking rubbish’.
He said: ‘I’m sure it goes down nicely in the room but when voters look at the party that has the same female PMs, with half the great state offices filled with women, half the BAME, most diverse government , more gay ministers than ever before Labor etc., they will know he is talking rubbish. ‘
This is not the first time the outspoken MP has caused controversy by calling the Tories rubbish.
Last October, Tory backbencher Chris Clarkson apologized to Angela Rayner in a public letter after she suggested that the Labor frontbench viewed the pandemic as a ‘good crisis’ to be exploited.
However, the tough Left Corbynite then heckled at Mr. Clarkson, who asked: ‘Sorry, did the noble lady just call me trash?’
The exchange prompted intervention from a furious Deputy Speaker Dame Eleanor Laing who said she would not accept such comments in the room ‘under any circumstances’.
