Sarah Wilson has been appointed Director of TuneCore UK, with additional supervision from Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.
Over the course of the past year, the digital music distributor, owned by the Paris-based global company To believe, has expanded and now has operations in 14 countries on four continents.
Wilson will report to Faryal Khan-Thompson, International Vice President and is based in London.
Wilson will focus on managing and building the company’s roster of artists, while seeking partnerships and growth opportunities.
He spent 13 years in Group of beggars and rose within the international department, starting as Sales & Promo Manager and moving up to Director of International.
There, he worked with some of the Beggars Group’s most popular artists, including Adele, Radiohead, The National, MIA, Bon Iver and on the XL, 4ad, Rough Trade, Matador and Young labels.
