Paul Rudd’s ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania’ Has Started Filming

The sequel to Ant-Man and the Wasp hits theaters in early 2023.


Director Peyton Reed has confirmed that Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has started filming.

While production in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania started months ago in Turkey and San Francisco, director Peyton Reed has confirmed that the Paul Rudd-directed film has started principal photography in England. In fact, Rudd and Michael Douglas have been in England since last month preparing for the film, which has just started shooting cameras with the main cast. Productions have been forced to change the way they film thanks to COVID, which means large film companies like those produced by Marvel often find ways to film without cast members.

Director Peyton Reed announced the beginning of principal photography for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on Twitter, but quickly deleted the post. Shortly after, Reed tweeted it again. The tweet features Cassie’s horrible bunny from the beginning. Ant Man film, prompting the likely prolonged appearance of Cassie Lang in the film.

Details surrounding the film are scant, though Jonathan Majors’s Kang / He Who Remains is known to play a pivotal role as a villain. Loki Director Kate Herron congratulated Reed on the start of production with a cheerful GIF. Kang debuted at Herron’s Loki, Y both directors collaborated together to elect Majors on paper.
